Spreads over 6,511 kms, Khushab District has a population accounting for 905,711 individuals. Out of 60 percent illiterate population of the district, 78 percent are females. The aim of this project in the area was to uplift female education in coming years.

• 1996__25 schools were established in collaboration with Society for Human Empowerment and Rural Development (SHER) and Punjab Education Department

• 1998__the number reached at 83 

• Currently 159 schools were providing education to 6000 students, whereas number of girls was double, 4125 against 2045 boys
