Girls’ education is one of major focus areas of TMF and
empowering girl children with education to make this
marginalized segment of society is a primary concern for us. In
NWFP, we are running 81 primary schools with the support from
Human Development Foundation in remote villages of district
Mardan. In such culturally ‘strict’ areas, fewer girls express
their wish to get education, and those who attend schools, fewer
still reach grade 5. TMF has no doubt played a significant role
in spreading awareness. Currently, more than 2000 students are
enrolled in TMF schools’ network.

as a result of joint educational activity with Human
Development Foundation (HDF) Mardan.
-
2007__the number has now increased to 50 schools in
the region.
-
2007__174 boys and 390 girls have passed primary
education from these schools.
-
Currently 870 boys and 1376 girls are enrolled in
these schools.
-
This year out of almost 2300 students, drop out
ratio is only 1 percent.
