Since 1947 there has been no school in the region,
thus produced no single literate adult from area.
• TMF established in 2003, Tufail TM Public
School Ashkoman, a Tehsil of Ghizer. It was
sheer commitment and the missionary spirit to spread
education in far-flung backward areas of Sami
Ullah Khan in Tashnalot.
• Sami Ullah Khan constructed four classrooms at two
kanal land.
• Maqsood Ahmed from Gilgit arranged a teacher to
start the first school in the area.
• It was a historic moment when the first child was
enrolled in the school.
• Currently 36 students are getting education from
the school.
