Famous center of trade in minerals and gems from the region and beautiful scenic natural landscape, Gilgit District is a major source of tourism in Pakistan. Situated at Ponihal Road in Gilgit, Imphery is a densely populated area.
• In 2001 an ex-engineer of Pakistan Steel Mills, Sami Ullah Khan started building a school in collaboration with TMF with his pension money.
TM Public School Imphery started its educational journey in 2002.
• There are 188 students, out of which 109 are girls and 79 are boys who are getting education.
