Famous for the biggest railway junction, District
Khanewal has literacy rate of 37.21 percent.
In 2001 in Tehsil Mian Channu, TMF established
Imam Din TM School Mian Channu.
The school started with the cooperation of Dr. Mazhar Javed
from USA.
Stretched over three acres land, the school had
three rooms in the beginning. Considering the
increased strength of students, a new school
building was constructed.
Along with co-curricular activities, the school
also provides extra-curricular activities like tree
plantation, painting and calligraphy competitions to
students.
There are 89 girls and 155 boys enrolled at the
moment.
Under the supervision of 14 hard working teachers,
the school showed 100 percent result in Primary
exams this year.
