District Multan is densely populated with 5 million
people. In an estimate in 2001, 50 percent of
population was literate. There were only 32 high
schools for as many as 42,000 girls in the district
while 99 secondary schools for 69,000 boys.
• In 1996 in collaboration with Munir Arshad
Memorial Trust, Munir Arshad Memorial TM High School
Multan was established.
• An educational complex spreads over an area of 24
acres.
• The complex consists of separate High School
setups for both boys and girls in which 102 girls
and 260 boys are enrolled. Among them 123 have fee
concession and about 26 students are getting free
education.
• This year the school showed 100 percent result in
secondary exams.
• Besides the basic educational facilities like
science and computer laboratories and a library,
school is also imparting vocational skills to girls.
