Health and Hygiene Committee (HHC) of TM City of Education (TMCE) celebrated 3rd Annual Plantation Week during February 15-21, 2010 to make the environment green and healthy. The event was celebrated with much more zest as compared to previous year. Mr. Faqeer Muhammad Rasheed, Sr. Vice President Tameer-e-Millat Foundation (TMF) was Guest of Honor and Mr. Mirza Habibullah, Vice President (Admin) attended the event as a Chief Guest. HHC organized a formal ceremony starting with a combine assembly on Monday, February 15, 2010 in which students and staff members of all four institutions participated. Total 620 plants were planted in this event along with 24 flowering pots to make TMCE lush green.
To ensure proper care and growth of plants and to create the feelings of ownership and competition among students, HHC assigned one type of plant to each class and students of that particular class will be responsible for plantation and growth of plant throughout the year. Committee announced prizes and awards for winning class after assessment at the end of the year.
