Volleyball Team of TM Institute of Technology (TMIT) beat District Faisalabad in the final match at Government College Technology on February 2, 2009. The events were organized by Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA). Aamad Tariq, student of DAE Electronics (II) was the captain of the team. Prior to this District Attock beat District Bhaker in semi final to enter in the Final Match. The winning team was awarded with trophy.

Lt. Comdr. (R) Rafiq Awan, principal TMIT showed his complete faith in the participation of the institute in such events in future to promote the trend of healthy activities.
