Short-Term
-
To set up a
fully equipped Basic Healthcare Facility (BHF)
at Tameer-e-Millat City of Education, staffed by
a trained male nurse.
-
BHF will be
centrally located in TMCE (in the present
building of Tameer-e-Millat Model School) and
will offer services such as first aid ,treatment
students’ height and weight, nutrition advice,
common fever and cold, injuries, blood pressure,
blood sugar and physical fitness advice.
-
BHF will
compile and maintain students’ medical record
-
BHF will
facilitate basic medical check up of all new
students and would provide them with their
Medical Record (MR) number.
-
BHF will act
as a health resource center for students and
teachers by providing informative brochures and
health related educational material
-
BHF in charge
i.e. male nurse will be available 24 hour to
address any medical emergencies, injuries,
sicknesses etc.
Long-Term
-
BHF will be
responsible for creating health and hygiene
awareness among TMCE staff and students by
closely monitoring key areas such as Kitchen,
and students’ residential blocks, physical
fitness sessions etc.

Medical
curriculum will be developed and inculcated in
schools syllabi, 6th grade onwards
-
First aid
training sessions will be organized for all
students, 6th grade onwards.

Students of
12th Grade will be trained for
Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) .
-
Doctors will
visit TMCE twice a year for students’ thorough
medical examination and reports will be added to
their Medical profile.
-
Medical staff
will be increased with the addition of female
nurse and doctor.
-
BHF will also
provide vaccinations to the students.
-
Students of
Shifa College of Medicine and Shifa College of
Nursing will visit BHF for community service and
internship.
-
This facility
will also provide similar medical services to
over 270 students studying at fourteen
Tameer-e-Millat Community Primary Schools in
Fatehjang.
-
It will
provide health services to the residents of
surrounding areas and will serve the community
in terms of healthcare services, prevention and
cure of diseases etc.
-
It will
educate students about basic medical procedures,
emergency care and first aid, thereby enabling
them to look after themselves, their families
and community members in everyday life and
especially at the time of emergencies, accidents
and natural calamities.

Mock
emergency exercises will be conducted once a
year to create emergency handling skills in the
students and teachers. This would help them deal
with unexpected calamities and natural disasters
such as earthquakes, fire and road accidents
etc.

BHF will also
look after and monitor physical fitness sessions
for staff and students at TMCE.
