Tameer-e-Millat Foundation (TMF)
was established as an NGO in
1987 with a vision of education
promotion in Pakistan. TMF aims
to provide quality education to
every individual in all academic
and professional areas without
the discrimination of gender,
race, religion, socio-economic
status and ethnicity.
TMF
is committed to provide
education with particular
emphasis on character building
through establishing Community
Primary Schools, Model Schools,
vocational training centers,
technical institutes, literacy
centers, teachers' training
institutes, culminating into
premier higher education
institution with the objective
to develop the human resources
in and from the marginalized
communities of the country.
Currently, TMF is running over
430 educational institutions,
educating thousands of students
and serving 700 communities in
25 districts of the country. We
are establishing Tameer-e-Millat
City of Education, Fateh Jang (Attock)
and moving towards launching
Shifa Tameer-e-Millat
University, charter of which has
been approved by Higher
Education Commission.
Our domain of work is the
underprivileged areas that lack
the basic amenities of life to
encourage people to have their
children learn to read and
write. The decision making body
involved have worked very well
in prioritizing the education of
women and girls. The concept of
“Universal Compulsory Education”
needs to be engrossed in our
society for a prosperous
Pakistan.
In this industrious journey of
past two decades, from students
to teachers, from people working
at TMF offices to communities
where we have reached, our
unending list of donors and
philanthropists, we have worked
hand in hand to create our niche
in every corner of the country.
