Trained and qualified teachers play a pivotal role in the up building of society. It is through the art of teaching that learners acquire skill, knowledge and understanding. Keeping in view the absolute importance of qualified teaching staff, TMF has established Tameer-e-Millat Institute of Teacher Development TMITD with a vision to identify born-teachers and develop their innate strengths and teaching capabilities. This institute will not only provide training to individuals with a passion to teach but will also assess whether or not the candidate is fit to adopt the profession. Individuals interested in taking up teaching as full-time profession will be enrolled at TMITD for 4-5 years rigorous academic and professional training, after which they will be nominated for internships at TMF’s various institutions. Upon successful completion of their education and training at TMITD, candidates will be offered permanent and visiting positions as TMF educational network faculty.
 

In addition, TMITD will also arrange Training Need Assessment (TNA), Skill workshops, academic research and coaching sessions for TMF Teaching staff. Apart from offering teaching diplomas, TMITD also plans to offer short certificate courses to enhance coaching skills in aspiring and practicing teachers. Mr. Qazi Manzoor Hussain, a seasoned educationist and ex-Principal of TM Model School Khewra is in charge of strategic planning and overall operations of the institute.
